Experience

Dr. Gazi Md. Abu Issa Nur is a Professor of Management and Head of the Department of Business Administration at Bangladesh University, Bangladesh. He previously served as a Professor at Jiujiang University, a public university in China. He is also a Postdoctoral Awardee from Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Malaysia. Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Gazi held the positions of Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer, and Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at several reputable universities in China and Bangladesh. He is currently a Research Fellow at INTI International University, Malaysia, and has successfully undertaken numerous academic and administrative leadership responsibilities throughout his career. Dr. Gazi earned his Ph.D., MBA, and BBA in Management with outstanding academic performance from Bangladesh. He also served as a member of the Ph.D. Supervisory Panel at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Uzbekistan, contributing to doctoral research supervision and academic quality assurance.
He currently serves as the Editor in Chief, and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the several reputed internationals. In addition, he is an Editorial Board Member and reviewer for several prestigious international journals, including the Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of European Business & Management, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (IJERPH), Sustainability (MDPI), PLOS ONE, Young Consumers (Emerald Publishing), and Open Economics (De Gruyter). He also reviews manuscripts for journals published by Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley, Emerald Publishing, Taylor & Francis, SAGE Publishing, Frontiers, and IGI Global, including numerous journals indexed in Scopus and the Web of Science Core Collection.
Dr. Gazi's doctoral research specialized in Human Resource Management. He has more than 18 years of academic experience encompassing university teaching, research, professional training, workshops, consultancy, and academic supervision. He is currently supervising several Ph.D. and Master's students at both national and international universities. As an active researcher, Dr. Gazi has published more than 124 scholarly publications, including peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and books. He has also successfully supervised more than 50 research-based Master's theses. His research has consistently contributed to the advancement of knowledge in business and management and continues to gain recognition in reputable international academic publications.
Dr. Gazi is recognized as a dedicated academic with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, exceptional research capability, and a commitment to academic excellence. He is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and conducting impactful research that addresses contemporary challenges in business and management. His primary research interests include Human Resource Management, Green HRM, employees' job satisfaction and job stress, international trade, Sustainability, Green CSR, supply chain management, entrepreneurship, e-commerce, and broader areas of business, economics, and management. His teaching interests include Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, and other business-related courses.
